Tech Tip: Alternate Oil Filters

I think with our short service intervals(4000 miles).
That any good quality oil filter is good .
I like the idea of the k&n's with the nut on it especially for people that don't have the correct oil filter tool.

Race Performance filter has a nut on the end like K&N.

Part number RP138 for the GSX1400.

Suzuki original oilfilter cost here 12€, so original filter and new oils after every 5000 km.

They fit several of my bikes so I buy a few, and some crush washers, and O-rings to remove my oil cooler line when I’m picking other stuff up and have them sat in stock.

Spring is on its way and then an oil/filter change on the 14 - In going trough my stock, I found a Fram PH6018 and looked up the cross reference and it says yes to a KN-138 - anyone got thoughts on this?

If it fits Mate, use it. Fram are quality filters.
