Ditto for me MJ, chances are your gaskets in the collector are a shot too!
Black widow do a full set of clamps including seals and gaskets for £48

Thanks, I will look into that but it does not seem to be blowing at the moment.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Do remember you will have to dremel off the old clamps, as they are spot welded to the collector.

That explains why they were not loose, thanks.

today i pumped up tyres, checked oil, not sure why, never alters. wiped over with microfibre cloth, bowdens fully slick, a great product. cleaned my visor, another week ready to go. so much easier than my ducatis in an earlier life. i know which i prefer in shed, on road is about even.

The Ducatis... that's why you are in the check oil habit....

Gotta love "Jap Crap" eh !

Wired in the cradle for my new Zumo 595

Just wrote up a How To for it as well.  Maybe I should start a "what did I do to the forum today"... me and barmy would have plenty to post each day .... :)

First time out yesterday for a while. New ASV levers, R1 throttle tube, (quicker action), quick shifter, home made cover for HEL oil cooler and individual pod filters with hand modified side panels. Best upgrade, probably the modified clocks with gear position indicator, many thanks to Thommohawk for that one.

I swapped out my six pot calipers for the four pot from a 2003 GZX750.

Easy task.  Have yet to ride the bike, but hoping for good outcomes.  AUD$200 lighter in the pocket, but did not have to wait.  dialled up ebay and there they were!!  Wow, did not expect that!
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

Well not today - in reality a few days ago.

Fitted a set if Givi engine bars. As a result hideous powerpronze snowplough/coal scuttle bellypan is no more. New plugs/air filter. Took off reservoir caps as they kept dazzling me. A set of cam cover bolts. And the biggest clean ever.

Just been out today to clear it's throat. MOT next month - roll on spring.
He who laugh's last - laugh's last...
