I don't own a gsx yet but I neeeeed's to! Really bad!! Only problem I am having at the moment is a lack of space as to were to put her. I have just sold my beloved 1200 sk1 bandit that I had to pull mirrors in to get her in the garden. She was apparently 765mm at her widest point according to the interweb's (not sure if that was measured at the mirrors or not?). So what I need to know is at what point is the actual widest point? I have looked online and it seems that every version of the GSX's life she is 810mm, doesn't seem to matter if it's if it's the twin can or single can version. Please help    :confused1:

widest part is the bars on any standard model k2-k7
you can always change them as bandit bars will fit so will be as wide as what you have then
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Sounds like some mods to the garden gate are needed.....

The width over original twin cans is 730mm in my K2.

Handlebars are around 800mm with bar ends weights fitted.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Thanks guys. That gives me 5mm each side so plenty of room to play with  :clapping:

Use standard Russian special tool. Very big hammer. It can solve your problem with garden doors fast.  :boogie2:
