.....odd bolts set people like Barmy off .....

I have absolutely no idea what you mean Andy  :whistling:
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Hooli

I got out of work early today so finished the 128k service, ie topped up the scotoiler & hit a pillion peg with a hammer so it'd move again before lubing the peg & various other bits. Then it got it's annual wax, so it'll probably rain for a month now.

I think I can see the shiny new bolt in the rear caliper in pic 2.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Andre

Yes, sticking out like a sore thumb... ruins the picture.

To be fair, the front bolt on that caliper was loose, so I'd fitted both & forgot to tighten them. It's got a shiney new one in now, it's gonna take ages for it to match the rest of the bike.

Still you have to start the rebuild somewhere Andy. Now just the rest of the bike to replace to match the bolt then  :rofl2: :rofl2:

It's s 2001 K2 & no. The fronts warped due to seized front calipers years ago & the rear died a couple of years ago due to a seized rear caliper.... I sense a theme that I need to check my calipers more.

Strimmer, had to google that one. Taught me something. A device i hate, threw my last one over the fence. Whipper Snipper in my world. Two goes a year i wish, our grass grows as fast as Rins will be this weekend.
