great idea Aldi, get rid of a problem. Red, meant to comment on gt 750 you saw. blue/silver. slightly diff colours here. bought brand new L model in blue, 1974. ported. polished, built expansion chambers. very fast. gas guzzler. was my 2nd of four. ports were cut out to usa flat tracker specs. could blow away z1 kawas, that was a big deal back then. leave them for dead. memories when i saw that pic.

There...fixed it for you  :rofl2:
maybe you should wait to sell it... with Harley included in the recent trade sanctions on US product the value might increase?   Then again... I would want to get shot of it soonest as well

But even my English is pretty OK, a lot of times I do not understand slang your (native English speaking) are using :)

I wouldn't worry about that, there is a lot of slang over here that people 20miles away don't understand!

Today I finish bar end mount project, I start some time ago. Get this idea from motocross world, where it's widely inuse with aluminium bars. There is kits, you can get on eBay, but they do not suits me, cause the are made for M8 bolts... I needed M6, so I decide to DIY...

Get 2 bolts, A4 M16*35
Find a turner, who drill a central hole, tap a M6 tread inside and cut off the bolt head. Cost me 15€ (bolt + turner)
Then I purchase M16*2 tap (13€) and cut the thread into renthal handlebars.

As a result - I have M6 threaded mounts on my ultra-low  aluminium bar and my 250g bar-ends are much stiffer connected to the handlebar, reducing vibration much better  :boogie2:

Also, SV1000 4 pot calipers casings are back from soda blasting.

To be fair it's not a bad bike, the problem is there's enough chrome to even make Stevie Wonder squint  :8:  I've enough going on in my day without having to polish up a bike after every run out  :imrgreen:

Today I had to work on site, but the weather was perfect, so I decide to combine business and pleasure. Did 470km.
I had to go on a island, but reword was 50+km of the best road for motorcycle I know in Estonia: https://goo.gl/maps/mZLvj6bx2eH2

Even it's not on a direct way to my destination, I ride it every time, whenever I'm on island with a bike.
It's quite empty, it's twisty, it was renovated last year, there is beautiful nature:

Perfect!
Only thing - I have to ride more than 200k and take a ferry to get on this road...
And I have to admit - I take this Saturday job only because I love this road so mutch :)

I really do like that seat Northern.    :onya:
This seat is very comfortable, but I cant compare it with OEM seat - it was on, then I get my 14.
quite pricey http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=gsx1400+seat+delux

As for look - I would prefer, passenger cushion would be lower - I 99.9% ride alone.
