Looking bright Dave!  How many watts do you draw with 'em all on?

All 4 LED spots draw just around 20w in total, the DRL's 1w. The Tex has a big generator on it, more than capable of taking it all. Ive wired the extra spots and DRL's in using a Fuzebox, that way i avoid any CanBus errors from fitting them.

To be honest i doubt i'll run the spots that much.. DRL's are on with the ignition and glimmer, the lower spots i'll use when needed on motorways, the upper spots when filtering.

Turns night into day though with them all on!

Got back from Ireland tonight. I was really worried about the early morning run to the ferry, I had to leave at 5am and there had been massive thunderstorms all last night, flood warnings and everything. The skies were grey, the roads were slick but on the plus side I passed only 3 cars and 1 truck all the way from Cork to Rosslare (just under 200km).

Still, after a full English (sorry, Irish) breakfast on the ferry and a bit of a kip, all was good this side of the water and it was actually hot when I got home this afternoon.

Anyway here's my 775-mile insect collection.

775 miles, that's a good run Fishy. Bike don't look too bad for that distance, or did you get rained on, which washed the first lot off?

Not really a mans collection of insects Fishy. Can't see any that would chew thru the visor to get at you. 
Sounds like a good ride hope you enjoyed every mile.
