Nice present. Very nice. One day when i get motivated, would like same box as well as a box from same company with shiny pipes etc. a little black box also. One day itll happen. Ive promised myself.

Ordered a set of hand guards cos after the ride last weekend I need them.
Also got a set of heated grips which due to crappy weather I haven't installed yet.

The hand guards will be a winter only thing as I don't really like the look of them!
Oh and for anyone interested, they are early DL 1000 V Strom guards.

I see no fittings. Just be warned that the extended bolts that you need that they fit onto are not cheap.

(See my thread on fitting these - includes diagrammatic with prices http://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?topic=1145.msg12323#msg12323 - you are looking at the bolt numbered 11 in the second diagram - £19.68 each! However if you call Robinsons before cob Monday, in their Black Friday sale they are doing 20% off parts......)

Thanks Dave..
There are 2 variants of the bolt..
1 appears to be in stock and the other does not !
Does it matter which version I get ?

I guess you are referring to items 5 and 11 on the diagram Simon? Far as I know they are both the same (odd one in stock the other is not - when I had them on mine they were both the same) The nut on your existing bolts will fit the thread area at the bottom, so you don't need those.

Christmas came early!  :boogie:

Do you think if I ordered the same they could package it in a plain cardboard box wrapping contents in Chinese newspaper........ as yours is packaged it may not pass under that budget/bargain threshold price scrutiny.  :whistling:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎
