I need a new pair of bike jeans - looking for black ones as I need to be able to get away with wearing them to my office job.

The ones I currently have are RHOK brand but don't appear to be available any longer,

What brands can people recommend? Ideally at decent prices not crazy expensive.

I'd want knee and hip armour with them.

You gonna wear that all day at the office?   ??? :confused1:   You've got a top box, put a comfy pair of trousers in there & change at work. :boogie:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

VladTepes

Yeah, I do already jeans and boots are both comfy.
Can't be arsed changing.

Draggin is my goto, or Draco is another one. Both brands around 300 a pair, kevlar lined knees, hips and rear.

Cheaper than hospital stays and skin grafts....
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

We both use bull-it jeans on our bikes they are slightly padded with full Kevlar linings and can be used even in dry winter days .
They do get a bit warm in high summer time .
Also have dragin jeans but I now prefer the bull-it ones .

RST for me , a nice comfortable pair to wear and like notty says they come in fatgit sizes at a reasonable price too!!.

I've just bought a pair of road skin Jean's.
Started out with nothing, still got most of it left.

VladTepes

Thanks all I'll keep an eye out for those brands.

Decent ones are some stupidly expensive eh, $300 for jeans is a lot even if they do have Kevlar in them.

Do any of teh bnrands mentioned included knee and hip armour?

I'll bet that made his arse hot !

Also sliding significantly slower than a real world off situation in most cases...

More speed is more heat with jeans, goretex, leather or what ever riding gear,
but those kevlar jeans are better than ordinary jeans ;)

RHOK are good Vlad I've had a pair for ages, can't fault them. They arrived with knee & hip armour (removeable) plus full kevlar and stretch fabric. I also like the ALDI ones that come out once a year.

You get what you pay for is how I look at it, the safety gear has to work really well once and only once. I've saved some skin over the years and you can't put a price on that.  :hat:

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

I have Draggin jeans, have never done a road test on them so cant say about performance. On any rides of about 300k they seem ok for comfort but I did a ride of about 700k and my arse was sore I could feel the dimples of the kevlar material even on my thigh.
