Robin Hoods Bay

Another Spur of the moment ride on Monday..
Decided to re visit "Robin Hoods Bay" on the East coast..
Crappy drizzle and cloud for the first 30 miles or so.. I very nearly turned back as I was only wearing my Mesh jacket..
But perseverance paid off and it turned out to be a gorgeous day..

1 & 2 taken just outside Hawes on the way there.. Hawes is a very popular destination for Bikers but can get too busy for my tastes!

The rest of the photos were taken at Robin Hoods Bay..
Because I was on my own I covered the 297 mile round trip at my own pace..
The rewards for that are 59.9mpg !!!
Yes seriously.. She used a total of 4.95 gallons.. (Work it out)..

Doc Martin is filmed in Port Issac in Cornwall around 300 miles from Robin Hood bay - both are lovely places with very steep hills
