I did something similar but welded a socket onto the end of it

a handy tip is to drill and tap the other end and it can be used to recharge the cartridge with oil when rebuilding the forks .

this is my tool for k2-k4 forks
with built in cartridge priming threaded end too.
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Del, what size is that pipe you've used?  You one is easier to copy for me than the welded jobs - I can't weld stuff.

Seth tells me yours is for a K2-K4 model anyway, so no matter. Thx

you need the later one with the welded bent washer on it
col as del's is for the earlier models .

just for info on either tool the pipe needs to be big enough to clear the nut on the damper rod i think thats 12mm but will check and modify the post .
