Last Wednesday I did a 455 mile mega ride in just 1 day..
I left a tracker app going on my phone.. Unfortunately my phone died after about 3/4 of the trip but it captured the best parts. Later I transferred to Google maps which you can view below..

From Penrith we ONLY used B roads..
Some of the best roads I have ridden on with truly gorgeous scenery..

As a Pink Floyd fan, I get annoyed when I see vegetarians eating pudding.

I do like a day in the saddle so long it feels good not riding the next day.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Thats going some for a UK ride out Speedy :onya:
I've just completed 300mls in two weeks, Brighton; Tunbridge Wells & Whitstable - does that make me 'runner-up'.!...... :rofl2:

That's just "ducking down to the shops" for us here.

Went for a spot of lunch one time down to Margaret River, 650km round trip, nice morning out.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Looking at the route Speedy took I rather suspect he had a lot lower average speed than you lot would.

Now that is my kind of ride, nice one
It is good to have an end to journey towards; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.

Respect to you sir, I've usually had enough at 200 miles to be honest.

I did about 350 in one hit between home and Tyndrum for the GTR meet earlier this year, but that was mostly motorway and not really fun biking.

There are those days though where you are at one with your bike and content to just keep going, it looks like you saew some nice secenery  :)
