Agreed Will14, she looks fine indeed, :smitten:  now the question is, can you keep up with the 18 year old?  :whistling:

Thanks, Not sure about that but one can try  :boogie2:

@ouch how does the quick shifter work with 14?
Mods on bikes are a owners preference and we'll all certainly disagree on somethings, but if you have a brand new quickshifter kicking around that i bought a yr ago for a project but  never fitted well why not ?
I probably dont need the quickaction throttle kit iv'e just ordered either , but

Notty

Rode 260 miles - seems you can program sat nav to follow goat tracks at least the single track roads around reservoirs in South Wales  :)

I can't see a quick shifter damaging a gearbox unless it's setup wrong. They only do the same as a rider does after all -

cut the power
change gear
put the power back on

It just does it quicker. So if it's not adjusted right to have the correct delay between cutting the power & shifting, moving the shifter the correct amount etc etc then stuff will get damaged.

I have two bikes with "quick" shifters and I would disagree they are quicker.  I have disabled one of them (Cant do the other, not a user option) as I can change quicker and smoother manually.  They really only offer any advantage when pouring petrol into the engine at high revs, at normal (legal) speeds they are an expensive waste of money.  As I'm not into pretending I am the next Marquez and thrashing around everywhere I don't like them, I know the fast boys rate them but not me.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I turn mine off around town and suburbia.

Out of town at speed it's great.
Full throttle clutchless up shifts,
auto-blipped down shifts.

It's a great rider aid when the pace is turned up and you're really pushing it.

I've never tried one, so I was just going on everyone saying the whole point is faster shifts.
