My 84 yo Dad just had a hernia fixed using mesh. He said he should have had it fixed years ago.  :onya: :onya: :onya: :onya:

Take care with your lungs etc. C.O.P.D. more common and undiagnosed than people think.

Thanks.

Yeah, I've had an  inguinal hernia (groin) done with mesh. Wasn't too bad to get fixed. This is a bit different, Hiatal hernia is a stomach bulging up pushing the lungs. Got a few things to try to avoid surgery, it won't go away but it can be managed without surgery hopefully.
I was concerned about silicosis after a dozen years of gravel dust and cutting concrete but the lung specialist says not.

...... and some good news...lol

Pay rise at work wasn't great but it did eventually get back dated.

Just picked up an extra $505 / £280 I wasn't expecting.

I did think about it.

I already have my eye on some unnecessary extras for the Kwak that are around that figure though.

I went to my Sons Graduation yesterday at University of South Wales, Treforest.
He has been there for 4 years and just graduated with a Masters Degree in Computer Cyber Security. He's also just started working for the NHS in their Cyber Crime and Security dept. He can now put the letters MSC after his name and I'm very proud of him!

My Friday finished unexpectedly. I park my ute up in workshop for weekend, today i put it on 4 post hoist. Cut outs at front are for front wheels but also for wheel align turntables. Someone had left turntables in there, i didnt see, ute went sideways and both front wheels dropped off hoist. Such a mission to get back on hoist. Very heavy ute, jack up front and wood under wheels, sides at back nearly touching posts, if it slips more would damage canopy. All worked well, blood pressure rising, all fixed. Not a way to end week. First beer after tasted so good. Have parked it there hundreds of times.

Well done Froudy junior. I can see why you're proud.

My "Daughter" finished her Law degree and has has considerable success since, we are very proud too. I try and claim it's the influence from her step dad (me !) but in truth she's definitely following in her mother's footsteps.
