To have a, "Go to first unread post button."
I think the old org had one, BikeMe does and the TwoWheels forum did as well.
Saves time, which is the main reason I stopped frequenting the old org, the time it took to load pages.
Gotta go to work now.
Have a great day.

It has one.. Under your Forum name and greeting.
So if i do stuff all all day and noone sees me do it.. Am i still a lazy git?

daveh

No that's not quite what I meant, if I log into a thread, say the car driver one, which is at about four pages now, I need to scroll through till I find where I was up to.
A button to go to the first unread post in the thread I have open is what I mean.

VladTepes

No mate. Ive not seen any Forum with that.

It was on the old 1400 forum, I used it the whole time I was on it, very useful.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I dont even know how the system would know where you were up to in every thread.
If you come across an SMF forum with that let me know.

I think it is available, sorry guys. If you click on "Show unread posts since last visit", then click on the orange "New" button that shows up just to the right of the title of the thread that takes you to where you were last on that thread.

Great bit of advice Barmy,
But if you randomly click buttons like I do to solve IT problems, you can hide the option to "Show unread posts since last visit" clicking the arrow thing on the top right makes the world good again.

gsxbarmy

Ha! Think you got me eh Rick

Then you have to look at Plan B - If, when you are logged on, you look to the right of the screen where your avatar is, you will see underneath that "Unread Posts" which still shows even if you do "close down the top" as you do with your random clicking :)

Click on "Unread Posts"............ :onya:
